Week 16: Nordic Dreams and a London Detour - When Your Adventure Takes a U-Turn
Our much anticipated trip to Norway started off perfectly-with awe-inspiring views that are next level, and magic weather. But just as we were getting comfortable with the idea of becoming part-time fjord dwellers our vehicle had other ideas. We have been noticing signs that something is not right with the gear box and unfortunately we made the decision to return to England to have it looked at, as we did not want to break down in Norway. It was a soul crushing decision to have to make, as we have come all this way only to get a glimpse of this amazing country. But hey-that’s travel, right? The unexpected bits are what make it memorable.
We may have hit pause on our Norwegian adventure for now, but this is a destination we are determined to return to.
